<aside> 🧠 Achieve TOTAL RECALL through spaced repetition! Memory science has shown that the “curve of forgetting” is steeper when you first learn something but becomes shallower with each timely review. Optimizing the timing between reviews (spaced repetition) can increase your retention and save you valuable time.

• Use for any type of information that you need to learn - terminology definitions, foreign language learning and pronunciation, mathematical calculations and formulas, or general Q&A.
• This system uses input on your recall level / accuracy combined with a Fibonacci sequence for determining when you need to review a topic next (1 day, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 5 days, 8 days, 13 days...). Just check the Review Board daily to see which cards need to be reviewed today. Once you’ve reached the lesson “End Date”, your reviews are complete. </aside>

• Start by adding new lessons on any subject that you are learning. You can think about a lesson as a body of information that you need to study.
• Enter an end date for when you no longer want to review (this could be a final exam date). The lesson will become inactive after reaching the end date.

• Use templates to create new flashcards by type (for example: DEFINE THE TERM, TRANSLATE THE WORD / PHRASE, SOLVE THE PROBLEM, etc)

• Enter the question and the answer.

• Optionally, enter additional info that is helpful to understanding the answer.

• Upload a picture for visual flashcards

• Link to the master lesson plan that the flashcard belongs to.

  • Note - By default, only flashcards added today will display. Collapse the toggle to hide them from view. </aside>

• At the beginning of each review, highlight all cards on the board and drag them to the “No Recall” column.
• Test your knowledge!
  1. Click “Show Additional Info” to reveal more information that may help you with understanding the answer.
  2. Click “Show Answer” to reveal the answer.
  3. Drag the card to the recall rating column that best fits your level of recall.

Scoring

[0] No Recall, [1] Incorrect Recall = Next review in 1 day

[2] Difficult Recall = Next review in 2 days

[3] Hesitant Recall = Next review in 3 days

[4] Good Recall = Next review in 5 days

[5] High Recall = Next review in 8 days

[6] Total Recall = Next review in 13 days

Reviews will repeat until you reach the lesson End Date

• Ensure that any answers and additional info are re-hidden.
• Highlight all rows in the table below, right click to edit the “Last Reviewed Date” property, set to today’s date.
• Cards will drop out of the Review Board and until the next review date. </aside>
